So enjoyed your blog on Jacques. Have to admit
I never actually followed him. You provided good
Insight into his entire life and accomplishments.
    Thank you!

    Judith,
Thank you for sharing the story of Jacques d’Ambroise. I have followed his amazing career for years, but somehow missed notice of his passing.
I am retired as a dance therapist and his work with children was pure therapy I’m sure for his students.

    • Thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting on my tribute to Jacques d’Amboise, Jane! I encourage you to visit the National Dance Institute Website (click on the link that I provide at the end of my blog post!) and catch up with or revisit the two wonderful documentaries, HE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE DANCIN’ and WHO’S DANCIN’ NOW?, about Jacques’ work with kids of all ages, sizes and shapes who had no previous dance experience. His connection with kids was truly inspiring and his mission was visionary.

I’m enjoying the vision of dancing angels in heaven – bet they’re joyfully pirouetting across the heavens!

    Hello, Judy –

Thank you for the piece on Jacques D’Amboise. For a number of years I was a subscriber to the NY City Ballet, and very early on had the pleasure of seeing D’Amboise dance. I trust you have come through COVID without adverse effects. Perhaps now, as things open up more, we can arrange to meet for lunch sometime this summer. Take care – and stay well! Msgr. Tim Shugrue
